How to use the advanced settings in Blogger template

Hello everyone! Welcome to another installment of #bloglife101! Today we will be going over the advanced settings in Blogger's Template section.

When you are in your dashboard or the section that says overview of your blogger blog you will notice a section on the left hand side called Template.

In template you have many options, one being the template itself. I always use the simple template because.. well.. it's simple and easy to customize.
There is also a section called Adjust widths in this section you can adjust the widths of your blog to suit your blogging needs. Although this is pretty self-explanatory it is ever so important because if you are going to install a wide image for you header you may have to widen your blog to fit the entire header. I usually use a blog width of 1270 and a sidebar width of 270 or 370. When your side bar is  270, for example, you can easily fit images that are 250 pixels wide without any overlap. The same applies for 370, and images that are 350 pixels wide.

Below you can see my custom header image. This is the Advanced section where you can alter almost every part of your blog. You can change all of your fonts, colors, & backgrounds to match so that your blog/ brand is designed specifically to your taste. If you find a special code known as CSS you can add that to your template here as well.

I hope this post was useful. It was short/ sweet/ and to the point but some people do not know that this level of customization is available on blogger. Being able to have full control over my blog in this way is one of the main reasons I love Blogger so much!

Thanks for reading and I will be back soon with the next installment of the #BlogLife101 series called Why I love Canva.
