What is the American Dream? Why do so many people feel the need to provide some (or all) of the food for their family? Well friends.. this is what we are trying to discover!
We want to ask a few questions, and take a tour of your homestead. We want to know why you homestead, what makes your homestead unique, and get a peek into "a day in the life" at your homestead.
We are still getting prepared and already have a few friends who are eager to participate. We are excited to compile an online series of real American families who are running their own homesteads all across the country. Don't worry, unless you ask us to disclose your specific location we will only share the state you are in.
If we conduct an interview virtually we would send you a questionnaire via e-mail and ask you for some of your favorite homestead photos to share.
If we conduct the interview face to face we will have to schedule it for a time when we are passing through your part of the country.We will show up, ask a few questions about your homestead, take a few photos to share on the blog, and lend a hand however we can (we are no stranger to dirty shoes and fingernails).
We will post our travel dates here when we know them, however if you are able to host us (Mr & Mrs. Winter and our two cats, we would be staying in our RV) then we can alter our travel dates according to your schedule.
