As soon as we bought The Defiant I knew that I would want to make lots of interior design changes. It took a lot of hard work by a lot of people, and a long time but finally I am ready to share the interior make-over of our tiny home!

Spray painting in our RV
Wow, looking back on it that tape and paper everywhere was a mess, and honestly it took me longer to tape everything than it did to spray paint it!
Welcome to part two of our RV renovations, the spray painting. Unlike the rest of the painting it did not take weeks. Luckily the Valspar spray paint we bought covered in one coat and I was able to do it all in the same day.

Painting tight spaces
I have had some experience with painting in the past.
The first job I ever got paid to do, way back when as a 14 year old, was as a painting assistant. That did not start a lifelong career but it was the first of many hours spent painting.
When my wife and I left our first apartment I painted the whole thing in 48 hours. So with all that experience and the best paint money can buy I thought for sure I would be done painting the Defiant in no time.

Our Kitchen..
We don't want the best of everything, instead we want to make the best out of everything that we have. Welcome to our kitchen makeover!
I'm going to try to make this post with more photos than words, after all a picture says a thousand words right? Hmm.. let's see!

Our first look at the kitchen when we moved in. Our refrigerator was too tall to fit in the allocated spot so we placed it across from the oven.
I loved the look of the pallet cabinet without paint, and we thought about staining it however we felt that the kitchen would look better and be easier to keep clean with a fresh coat of paint!
Adding the shelf for our small appliances.
We took off all of the hardware and soaked it in Coca-Cola to loosen up the gunk. This bowl bubbled for over six hours!
Once we removed the hardware from the coca-cola we soaked them in hot soapy water and scrubbed each one with a toothbrush with a diy soft-scrub mixture.
First coat of paint.
